About the Foundation
The Watermark foundation was formed on 1 November 2009 for the purpose of raising funding for use by Eligible Charities, as decided by the Trustee.

It is envisaged that particular emphasis will be placed on providing medical benefits for the wider community, rather than on single, individual needs, although the latter will not be excluded if the Executive Committee determines that a particular case warrants support.

To this end, Watermark Hotel & Spa has, for several years, supported QIMR (Queensland Institute of medical research) in their quest to seek a cure for cancer and a range of other infectious diseases.

Through the Watermark Foundation we hope to continue and increase our support of this and other worthy medical organizations. Funds raised will benefit selected charities and all donations over $2 are tax deductible.

Gather a group of close friends and colleagues for the inaugural – Watermark Foundation Luncheon Event. Enjoy Queensland's best interactive Buffet Restaurant – Waves, Buffet plus flowing Chandon bubbly and stunning entertainment, hosted by Queensland TV personality – Bruce Paige.

The Watermark Foundation is a fundraising organisation that strives to make a difference towards the development for cures and care of people afflicted by medical conditions. For this event, it has teamed with the Breast Cancer Association of Queensland to raise awareness and funds for this important cause.

Relax through the lunch whilst listening to the jazz trio before being engaged by Chris Fennessy who will perform some of his favourite musical theatre and swing songs. Chris has performed as the leading role of Jean Valjean in Les Miserables where he has amassed an incredible 2500 plus performances throughout Australia, New Zealand, Asia, South Africa and London’s West End production at the Palace Theatre.

Make a real difference to the great work of the Breast Cancer Association of Queensland and join in the fun of the Auction with limited items to make your bid. Auctioneer – Adrian Seiffert will raise the tempo with frantic bidding expected for artwork collages celebrating movie highlights of Alex Baldwin and Kevin Costner, accommodation on the Gold Coast, Stradbroke Island and Brisbane.
