In the prestigious Queensland Tourism Awards, the hotel was a finalist for Best Deluxe Accommodation. The Queensland Tourism Awards is the premier event for the state’s tourism industry, recognising the achievements of tourism businesses.

The Watermark Hotel & Spa Gold Coast has taken out honours in the prestigious 2009 Restaurant and Catering Hostplus Awards for Excellence.
The hotel’s stylish Waves Buffet Restaurant won the Best Casual Dining Buffet Restaurant in Queensland, and was only one of three Gold Coast establishments to win awards. Queensland’s largest hospitality and tourism awards highlighted the industries finest and the top performers for 2009.

The Restaurant & Catering Association of Queensland has awarded Watermark Hotel & Spa’s, Amalfi Bistro & Wine Bar as the Best Italian Restaurant on the Gold Coast for 2007. The lavish awards presentation, attended by 480 of Queensland’s dining elite, recognised the very best restaurants and dining diversity throughout the Gold Coast region.
